My attempt to capture the effect of light on the flowers in my garden led me to experiment with ways to mount my work on walls with enough space behind the glass to create shadows of color or even transparent glass. This effect is particularly interesting with pieces mounted in direct sunlight which changes throughout the day. The light-weight woven glass pieces in two of the World Bank's alcoves were easy.  But the glass Staggered Paths in the third alcove were significantly heavier. So I invented a way to mount the glass off the wall using only a single nail.
